Voting for the legislature, called the Althingi. For the first time in Europe. Rwanda, Cuba, Nicaragua, and the UAE also have female-majority legislatures. Prime Minister Katrin Jakobsdottir will retain her position. Although her Left Green Party will lose seats, coalition partner Progressive Party has gained seats, giving the coalition 37 of 63 seats.
